Sooke Shelter started in 2017 as a grassroots organization working together to increase access to affordable housing for those with lower-income, to prevent and end homelessness in Sooke, BC.

We believe that safe, decent, affordable housing benefits the entire community – economically, socially, and environmentally.

Through advocacy, we raise awareness of the critical value of stable, affordable housing to people’s education, employment, health, and overall wellbeing.
